For visitors to Rome in October the autumn has set in and fall can be a beautiful period to take some spectacular photos of the city. The weather in October can be unpredictable with average temperatures in the range of 65°F-, but you will find plenty of nice sunny days too. Also don't forget your raincoat and jacket just in case.

So lets have a look at whats to offer in Rome during October 2014:

Anastacia -  Auditorium Parco della Musica, Wednesday October 29th, 21:00  Via Pietro De Coubertin,30, 00196 ROMA

Anastacia, the Chicago born singer/songwriter, will be performing at the Parco della Musica. The "I'm Outta Love" star has had great commercial success ouside the U.S. with 2001's Freak of Nature which included the international chart topper "Paid My Dues." Also in 2004 Anastacia produced the critically acclaimed Left Outside Alone that remained at the top of the european charts for 15 weeks! She is also loved in Italy for a duet with the famous Italian Artist Eros Ramazzotti singing the song "I Belong to You" (Il Ritmo della Passione).

The Show will be taking place at the Auditorium Parco della Musica. You can take the bus 910 from Termini station to the Auditorium which would take approx 40 minutes.

Kasabian  - Palalottomatica: Friday October 31st, 21:00  - Piazzale dello Sport 

Kasabian is an alternative rock band, originally from Leicester, England, led by singer Tom Meighan. Kasabian will be peforming in Rome this October at the Palalottamatica venue in Rome. The concert is expected to sell out quickly. You can expect to hear some of their classic rock songs such as "Underdog" LSF, Empire, Shoot the Runner and some new material.

It's quite simple to reach Palalottomatica as it's an indoor arena which holds approx 10,000 spectators. From Termini Station you will need to take the Metro Line B (blue line) in the direction of Laurentina. The stop you will need to get off at is EUR Palasport and then the Arena is a 5-10 minute walk away.

Cirque du Soleil (Circus Show) - Palalottomatica: Friday October 24th, 20:00  - Piazzale dello Sport 

Cirque du Soleil, or Circus of the Sun, is a Canadian founded entertainment company and is the largest Circus producer in the world. Definitely worth the visit should you be in Rome during this period. You will be treated to a wide range of circus arts and street entertainment. This performance will be Quidam which is a thrilling combination of acrobatic artistry, technical expertise, extravagant design and exceptional musical inspiration.

The show will be taking place at Rome's Palalottomatica indoor arena. To arrive from Termini Station you will need to take the Metro Line B (blue line) in the direction of Laurentina. The stop you will need to get off at is EUR Palasport and then the Arena is a 5-10 minute walk away.

Halloween in Rome -  31st October 2014 

Although Halloween is not really an Italian holiday it's becoming fairly popular, especially among young adults. You'll find Halloween costume parties in many of Rome's nightclubs. There are also a number of organized parties for the event.

You can contact Rome After Dark for further details regarding a Halloween party out in the centre of Rome. Otherwise, Scholars Lounge Pub located near Piazza Venezia will be offering a Halloween party, which is very popular with the younger crowd.

Guided Tour of The Roman Colosseum

The list of things to do would not be complete without a trip to the Roman Colosseum. Tour the Vatican Museums

The Vatican Museums is not particular to October but if you happen to be in Rome in October it is definitely be on the list. As the home of the Christian world, the Vatican Museums is the major attraction of visitors to Rome and will continue to be so for many a year! Taking a tour you can skip the long lines that you will find at the Vatican in the summer. With skip the line tickets and with a guided tour you will gain all the expert insights of this famous collection of museums along with a tour through to the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica. The tour ends in St. Peter's square after your three hour journey and tours are offered twice daily at 09:30 and 13:30 from Mondays to Saturdays, as the museums are closed on Sundays. However, if you are lucky enough to be in Rome for the last Sunday of the month, the museums are open for free. On these days you will have extremely long lines to deal with so be sure to go early.
